RAWSON for LOCAL MOTION

RAWSON for LOCAL MOTION

In summer 2021, Local Motion Hawaii partnered with surfboard shaper Pat Rawson to create a limited collection of Local Motion's iconic surfboards from the 70's, 80's, and more.
Surfboards shaped by Pat Rawson and glassed by Jack Reeves

It is undeniable that surfboard shaper Pat Rawson has made a name for himself in the surf industry; making thousands of boards since the start of his shaping career in 1968. With the desire to be based at the core of surfing in Hawaii, he built his shaping room on the North Shore of Oahu.

As interest in his work grew, Local Motion Founder (Rob Burns) recruited Rawson to join the Ohana in 1977, becoming Local Motion's second surfboard shaper.

Paying homage to Local Motion's history, the launch of the RAWSON for LOCAL MOTION partnership will feature the Kailua-Single and the '77-Single-Fin.
